Land-based system integration
For us, a land-based energy system operating optimally goes way beyond simply providing proven battery technology. Our background in electrical engineering and system integration means we understand like no other the importance of properly and robustly integrating all present technical systems, the grid and other stand-alone energy systems.
We have the expertise and experience in house for linking our energy storage systems to a central grid, meaning the energy is available for accommodating extreme peak loads and grid blackouts. This so-called grid blackout (UPS application) is in principle a momentum of stand-alone grid.
This configuration requires a maximum link between the various subsystems and components, what is known as the ‘handshake’, present between our systems and the rest of your total energy system – whether this is stand alone or as part of a grid. These links are crucial for safely and efficiently obtaining the maximum returns from your investment.
Our hybrid energy solutions with solar, wind, hydro and biogas energy are customised. Together with our customers and their partners, such as system integrators, we seek the most economic and sustainable energy systems for clean, safe, powerful and in particular reliable energy generation. All our energy systems are of course equipped with intelligent 24/7 SCADA monitoring, for watching over the system’s performance.
Mobile and flexible deployability
Our lithium polymer battery systems score excellently when it comes to the balance between weight and volume, with the applied cells of the leading South Korean company Kokam Ltd able to store up to 200 amperes (A) of energy per cell. With regard to traditional lead-acid battery systems, the gains in weight and space can reach up to 75%.
This means the energy systems are ideal for using mobile applications in container implementation, for instance. Transport by road, water and air is no problem at all; not even to hard-to-reach locations such as rural areas and islands.
