3 yachts present at the MYS where EST-Floattech delivered our sustainable battery packs.
Next week the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show will bring together some of the world’s most luxurious yachts to Port Hercules. We are proud to see 3 yachts present at the MYS where we have delivered our sustainable battery packs. Aiming at the impressive number of kWh delivered to the yachting industry, we are certainly proud to be the global leader in Lithium Energy Storage packages.
Perini Navi ‘Sybaris’ and Perini Navi ‘Dahlak’
Custom sail yachts ‘Sybaris’ (70mtr) and ‘Dahlak’ (38mtr) were built by Perini Navi in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard. EST-Floattech delivered for both yachts the Green Orca 1050 Marine Lithium Polymer Batteries for the Hotel Load on board. The difference when powering the powertrain and electrical system with lithium polymer batteries can be felt by everyone on board. No more noise, smells, or vibrations for maximum comfort for owner, guests and crew.
Wider Yachts ‘Genesi’
The award-winning 150 ft. (50m) ‘Genesi’ was built by Wider Yachts in Italy. The setting of the various modes for operations, as well as the lithium polymer battery modules delivered by EST-Floattech make up the heart of Genesi’s power system.
The 544Kwh of EST-Floattech Green Orca 1050 modules is sufficient to supply the entire hotel system on board for up to 8 hours in total silence with no generators running. Alternatively, the WIDER 150 ‘Genesi” can run at 5kts for up to 6 hours in what we refer to as ZEM, short for Zero Emission Mode.
“The battery tests were a great success,” said Tilli Antonelli, Founder and CEO of WIDER. “The yacht ran comfortably at 5kts in ZEM consuming no fuel whatsoever. but the most remarkable and memorable aspect was that she ran in total silence!”
